The author develops the
text in a logical manner and not only outlines the treatment but also
nicely reviews the background for much of the care presented…. The
references are extensive and assist both the student and advanced
specialist in further review of any topic. The authors have
effectively utilized many line drawings and colored plates to describe
not only treatment outcomes but also techniques and laboratory
procedures. In summary, the book has many strong points and few weak
ones, and is written in a comprehensive manner for students and
advanced specialists alike.
—The Cleft
Palate-Cranioficial Journal
…The author has
deliberately chosen to limit his discussions to the care of cleft lip
and palate patients. He has succeeded in producing a text that at once
gives an overview of cleft patient care in general and gives practical
information regarding the procedures that general dentists and
prosthodontists may be required to perform.
—Journal of Prosthodontics
